Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Mail Services Specialist in Toms River, New Jersey. The job function is centered around the administration and operations of mail services, and the incumbent will be working in-person at our location.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure swift and efficient processing of outgoing shipments, utilizing various mailing systems for outbound shipments and tracking.

• Take, process, and maintain passport photos as part of client services.

• Conduct daily audit of delivered items against delivery invoices, approving or rejecting deliveries based on inspections.

• Ensure all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage, mitigating the risk of product loss.

• Maintain a precise schedule for the delivery of mail, packages, and stationery, ensuring that items are delivered promptly and efficiently.

• Stock mail and postage supplies daily, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for operations.

• Provide first response in the copy rooms, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

• Maintain a strong line of communication with vendors for shipment requests, ensuring all parties are kept up-to-date about arrangements.

• Use Microsoft Office Suite for various administrative tasks and record keeping.

• Stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds as part of regular job duties, ensuring physical capability to handle mail and packages of varying sizes and weights. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in materials handling and machinery operation

• Familiarity with warehouse management and shipping functions

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial audits

• Comfortable answering inbound calls and handling correspondence

• Knowledge of operations, procedures, and policies

• Experience with vendors and invoice management

• Ability to use monitoring tools and online platforms

• Proficiency in scanning documents and handling deliveries

• Training experience in retail practices

• Understanding of production processes

• Ability to adapt quickly and learn about time management

• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
