Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSC) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. CSC is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

We are looking to hire a Logistics Program Manager within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure, the Spares Supply Chain team is responsible for ensuring that the right spare parts are in the right place, at the right time in support of delivering global capacity requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and distribution activities to support GPU growth.

  • Lead cross - functional teams and align warehouse metrics to support DC activities.

  • Drive engagement with 3PL on new business requirements and processes that meet DC expectations.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities focused on operational effectiveness and efficiencies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, operations-related roles, or engineering

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related field AND 8+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations-related roles

  • OR equivalent experience.

Fulfillment & Logistics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
