As the Lead Technical Strategic Advisor , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Senior Executive responsible for cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in strategic thinking, combined with a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, supply chain, cloud trends, and macro environments, will drive our organization’s success. You’ll collaborate closely with technical experts, analyze data, and provide critical guidance to shape our cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance :

  • Provide strategic advice to the Senior Executive on cloud infrastructure initiatives.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with business goals.

Technical Expertise:

  • Offer technical insights on hardware systems, cloud architecture, and infrastructure design.

  • Understand semiconductor industry dynamics, including advancements in chip technology and manufacturing.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments in hyperscale cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze technical data related to cloud performance, cost optimization, and scalability.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Oversee technical projects related to cloud infrastructure deployment.

  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

  • Mitigate risks and address any roadblocks promptly.

Executive Support:

  • Assist the Senior Executive in preparing for internal and external engagements (e.g., keynotes, panels).

  • Provide strategic input for decision-making and communication.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

  • 4+ years of experience in emerging technologies, including but not limited to Semiconductor, Artificial Intelligence, or Hyperscaler cloud providers.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware design, manufacturing, and emerging hardware technologies

  • Understanding of hardware systems, cloud supply chains and infrastructure

  • Knowledge of semiconductor and cloud industry trends, including chip design, manufacturing, and emerging technologies.

  • Familiarity with hyperscale cloud providers and their services.

  • Ability to analyze complex technical data and extract actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in identifying patterns, risks, and optimization opportunities.

  • Clear and concise communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including board presentations, technical papers and briefings.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and writing technical papers.

Technical Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
