Our Client, a global technology corporation headquartered in the Pacific NW, is seeking a Lab/Test Engineer for a hybrid contract job opportunity in Redmond, WA. In this role, you will be supporting Device Test Lab Team to contribute towards setting up and testing devices, managing onboarding devices and supporting the test coverage for the Company teams. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of IT and device management experience as well as 2+ years of experience in Python and Networking align successfully with this organization.

Job Title: Lab Test Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA | Hybrid

Pay Range: $25-31/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

  • The main function of a Lab/Test Engineer at this level is to apply configuration skills at a basic level. The Test Engineer will perform repeatable testing procedures and may need to be familiar with programming languages.

  • Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.

  • Verify triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, hardware product or system specifications.

  • Interpret and modify code as required that may include JS, C#, Ruby scripts, Python, queries, stored procedures and/or triggers.

  • Write automation test scripts for automating device setup

What’s Needed?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Python

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with basic networking knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with device management, must be very similar with Microsoft operation systems; revvable all operating systems

  • The ideal candidate will have ample networking experience, group policy management and Chef (preferred)

  • US Citizenship required for this assignment.
