A Lab Technician is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Redmond, WA area. The Lab Technician is responsible for prototyping electronics, fabricating models, using 3D printing technologies, and performing CAD design, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks in a dynamic development lab environment.

salary: $40.00 - 48.38 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Prototype mechanical systems and hardware.

• Build PCB and electronic assemblies.

• Fabricate models using 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

• Use CAD software to create and modify designs.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

• Manage inventory and maintain lab equipment.

• Perform server maintenance and computer networking tasks.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD and drafting software.

• strong skills in prototyping electronics and fabricating models.

• Comfortable with hands-on tasks, including voiding warranties.

Experience:

• 3-5 years in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2+ years (building and fabricating models).

• Minimum 2+ years experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).

• Minimum 2+ years (e.g., Linux).
