IT Support Services Technician I – Redmond/Tacoma (Regular, Full-Time) GeoEngineers, Inc., a leading national earth science and technology consulting firm, is seeking an IT Support Services Technician I for our Redmond or Tacoma location to assist with a diversity of technically challenging projects within our corporate IT team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The IT Support Services Technician I will assist our IT Support Services (ITSS) team with providing a high level of customer service and support to end-users across a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices in a networked environment. Under the guidance of our IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for troubleshooting end-user IT requests through our ticketing queue, working to identify appropriate resolution to issues or escalating as appropriate. You will also assist the team with regular hardware service, including maintenance, up-keep, and warranty service, to keep all end-user hardware functioning optimally. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting several IT initiatives, ongoing laptop upgrades, and a company-wide program upgrade cycle. You will also support the ITSS team with additional day-to-day operational needs and other projects or duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in IT or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience 1 year of experience as an IT support service preferably within a corporate setting preferred Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving, with a personal drive to hunt for the correct resolution every time Ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of people with different levels of computer needs and expertise Attention to detail, professional written and verbal communication skills, and high-level organizational skills are a must Strong desire to learn and improve own personal skill-set To learn more about life at GeoEngineers and apply online, please visit our website at http://www.geoengineers.com.
