Robert Half HR/Payroll Assistant in Redmond, Washington

Description

We are seeking a HR/Payroll Assistant for a client of ours in Redmond, Washington. As a HR/Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for managing various HR systems, processing employee payroll changes, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be tasked with conducting audits and collaborating closely with vendors. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is a part time role with an estimated 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entry of new employees into ADP WFN as well as other HR systems

• Accurately process employee payroll changes within ADP WFN such as pay rate, job title, direct deposit, tax, transfers, terminations, etc.

• Maintain weekly filing in ADP electronic personnel files

• Implement changes in the system including assigning new job descriptions, initiating 90-day review processes, assigning training, etc.

• Handle returned mail (tax statements, benefit mailings, etc.) and liaise with Site HR/employee for updated address and update ADP/resend

• Conduct audit of monthly Benefit Invoices before forwarding to AP for payment and coordinate with providers to verify accuracy

• Collaborate with our external mailing service to dispatch required monthly benefit mailings

• Work with AP to ensure Wisely account is funded and monitored, as well as process approved reimbursements

• Partner closely with vendor Daily Pay to address any issues that arise with employee pay

• Complete yearly EEOC/Veterans Reporting

• Keep the phone list updated on SharePoint

• Serve as a backup to our Payroll Manager in various payroll related tasks up to/including processing payroll in their absence.

Requirements

• Ability to utilize ADP Workforce Now for efficient payroll management

• Knowledge and understanding of Benefit Functions to ensure employees' benefits are accurately calculated and distributed

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration to effectively manage employee data and processes.
