Wireless Protocol Test Engineer

Requirements:

• Knowledge of WiFi and Bluetooth protocols and experience with testing wireless devices and radios.

• Familiarity with protocol analyzers and wireless sniffers (e.g. OmniPeek, Ellisys Bluetooth Analyzer, USB Protocol Suite, CommView for WiFi, Wireshark).

• Experience with RF testing using conducted bench and radiated RF chamber test setups.

• Basic knowledge of RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, power meters, attenuators, couplers, combiners, …

• Debugging and troubleshooting skills, ability to isolate issues in complex scenarios.

• Basic scripting or coding experience using Matlab or Python.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and define test plans from variables.

• Strong work ethic

• Experience with capturing and analyzing FW and OS debug logs

• Familiarity with using Azure DevOps test plans and creating bugs

• RF PHY development and testing

• Power consumption testing and optimization

• Familiarity with using Xbox products

• Windows Driver integration
