• You’ll be working with PMs and managing a team of combining remote engineers, local engineers and managers to (1) design and implement a highly scale and reliable data analytics platform and pipelines to capture, collect and mine business data and telemetry data from products where are used by 100s of millions of users per month. Then build dashboards that allow everyone with right access to view, customize and explore the metrics; (2) frame, design and implement an E2E cohesive capacity and resilience management services/tools to support E+D business scale reliably and efficiently.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership: architecture, design, code reviews, development, quality assurance, observability, and live site.

• Build strong relationships with partners within Microsoft (especially E+D and Azure) to bring innovation to new and existing products.

• Foster a culture of inclusivity and disciplined software engineering practices to deliver business value, guided by data.

• Hire and retain top talent. Be a mentor for the people on your team and help them grow.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or Engineering

• Demonstrated past hands-on experience working deeply with data, data analytics, fleet/cloud, and strong technical chops; Azure experience is a big plus.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented

• Excellent communications and collaboration skills. Ability to work across team boundaries to get things done

• 10+ years of industry experience developing enterprise grade software or/and cloud services.

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, delivering high quality software for customers.
