Financial Analysis & Controls 1 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Analysis & Controls 1 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA- Remote! Position Title: Financial Analysis & Controls 1 Location: Redmond, WA (Remote) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 08 Months(Highly Possibility for extension) Job Type: [CONTRACT [Remote] Pay Range:$40/hr- $47/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirement: 1. Minimum 2 years experience with General Ledger (GL) Accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, and excel workbooks). 2. Minimum 2 years experience with Audit work 3. Minimum 2 years experience with financial statement preparation Summary: The main functions of Financial Analysis & Controls are to gather and analyze financial information. A typical Financial Analysis & Controls is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients. Job Responsibilities: * Support Corp Accounting's Legal Entity termination program * Manage finance readiness status of term list and support prioritization * Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, and other business groups to clear final balance sheet (cash, tax payables, etc.) * Create legal entity termination accounting plan workbooks * Perform liquidation equity accounting * Perform ad hoc analysis to support SAP legal entity system inactivation Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. * Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. * Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. * Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations related to accounting. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in financial discipline is preferred. * 0-2 years' financial and/or accounting experience required.
