The C+AI Revenue Finance Team is looking for a strong finance professional who will partner with the field and Corp stakeholders to drive C+AI growth and land key GTM (go-to-market) strategies in Microsoft subsidiaries around the world. The candidate is expected to lead C+AI field engagement across the field finance and support marketing and sales organizations in achieving our revenue aspirations.

This individual will provide analytical insights on Geo performance to support close, forecast, and quarterly review cycles. Additionally, the role contains leading the subsidiary scorecard planning process, providing C+AI headcount analytics, owning credit governance, and partnering with WCB and GSMO to land targets in the field. The role is deeply collaborative. It requires close partnerships and orchestration work across the broader Cloud + AI org, key stakeholders in product marketing, sales, M&O and with Microsoft subsidiary and Corp finance teams.

Responsibilities

Prioritize

  • Leads analysis of present and future financial performance of C+AI products, focusing on Geo specific insights into the business with deep analytics around customers and sales channels to support close, forecast, and VSU/QBC. Provides C+AI headcount analytics and owns credit governance.

  • Assists in the execution of annual business planning and forecasting process. Gathers insight and contributes to analysis and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles.

  • Provides support to peers and counterparts during financial close periods. Prepares recurring financial reporting, forecasts, and presentations, and updates as necessary through the reporting cycles. Determines financial results (e.g., C+AI revenue) compared to expected budget and projections; identifies variances to provide insights to management and inform future projections.

Partnership

  • Serves as C+AI Finance contact for partners for all A14 C+AI revenue questions related to reporting and analysis. Contributes insights for financial plans, variance analysis, resource optimization, investments, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), long range planning, and driving margin accountability. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drives field engagement activities with the C+AI controller community, evangelizes business priorities and shares key GTM initiatives. Becomes the single EG point of contact for the field on all C+AI topics.

  • Leads C+AI subsidiary scorecard target setting process coordinating between various stakeholders within C+AI org, modeling, and landing targets with the field.

  • Assembles and summarizes data through data mining and business intelligence to structure reports and financial models for decision support. Leverages statistical analysis, predictive analytics and financial modeling techniques to conduct sophisticated analyses. Acts as subject-matter-expert for data management and operations. Understands history of data procurement, location, methods, issues, and actions taken.

  • Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; drives corrective measures. Supports questions regarding documentation, policy adherence, and requirements; recommends approved instruments and processes. Remains current on all company policies and procedures and updates others.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field

  • OR equivalent experience
