Summary:

The Finance and Business Planning team enables Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. We take a uniquely long-term view towards business problems and operate with an independent and objective perspective, representing our point of view to our executive stakeholders. We serve as financial advisers to our business partners and own shared business goals and results where appropriate. Meta is seeking to fill a position on the Reality Labs Consolidations team, responsible for all facets of consolidated Financial across Reality Labs. In this role, you will gain invaluable experience with visibility into Meta's business & operations and have broad impact within the Finance organization. You will be closely involved with high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, deliver business analytics and insights, and facilitate the growth of our financial & business planning processes to support an increasingly complex ecosystem. You will also contribute meaningfully to business planning, forecasting and support ad hoc projects with opportunities for broad cross-functional interactions. Successful candidates for this team have a bias towards action, are detail oriented, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

Required Skills:

Finance Associate - Reality Labs Responsibilities:

1. Key contributor to providing the leadership team with clear insights into drivers of business growth, risks, and opportunities.

2. Driving quarterly close, forecast and day to day financial management, including coordinating with stakeholders

3. Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results, including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables and analyzing and explaining trends & drivers.

4. Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools and processes.

5. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting/SEC Reporting, Investor Relations, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights.

6. Assist with management and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests

7. Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required.

8. 4+ years of finance or financial planning and analysis experience

9. BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent

10. Experience with financial statement analysis and a knowledge of corporate finance concepts

11. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, possessing proven analytical skills to drive insights and inform decision-making

12. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software, such as Excel, Access, and financial planning tools like Essbase/Hyperion

13. Consolidations experience in a large company

14. Detail-oriented and experience with multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines

15. Extensive experience handling vast amounts of information and synthesizing a clear and concise story along with effective communication skills in multiple formats

16. Experience developing frameworks and solutions to high-level questions with limited supervision

17. Experience managing multiple workstreams end-to-end

Public Compensation:

$92,000/year to $135,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
