About the Job

Reporting to the Global Field Marketing Director, you will be responsible for North America Field Marketing activities as well as supporting with Product Launch.

This role will prioritize go-to-market marketing strategies in your region including the execution of trade shows and events, sales campaigns and promotions on the Field, products introduction, printed or online advertising, updates/creation of collaterals. Part of your role will also be to execute bold new products deliverables and presentations enhancing new product value propositions and armed with compelling, accurate message. You will collaborate closely with Product Management as well as working with those in Brand Strategy, Marketing Operations, and Regional Field Marketing Managers globally, to execute with efficiency and within tight timeline.

Another essential part of the role is to support Sales team members, dealer network and rental customers, follow up, planning, measuring ROI and sales enablement. You will only execute when clear goals and objectives will be defined, and you will be responsible for developing your own KPI for any activities drive revenue-generating outcomes and market share increase. Plan, Act, Measure and Improve will be your motto to be successful on the field.

  • Regional Market Data, Marketing strategies and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Collaborate with other departments and Sales to determine regional targets, priorities, KPI and values to set up marketing strategies

  • Get to know your market, products and customer profile (segmentation)

  • Update databases and develop new contacts data for your mix channels

  • Actively reviewing market analysis and competitive information (Use internal/external Tools) as well as your KPI to continuously improve.

  • Be curious to discover new ways of doing marketing, delivering messages, and how to differentiate from the competition. Think outside of the box.

  • Product launch strategy support:

  • Support with the strategy and the execution around new global product launches and demand generation including enhancing product value propositions (showcasing products capabilities and differentiation), product introduction and coordination of all the marketing deliverables.

  • Contribute to product go-to-market strategy within our Mix Channels. Be the go-to expert on markets trends, target needs and the competitive landscape.

  • Work collaboratively with Product Management, Dealers, Field Sales and other stakeholders to ensure high impact launches and campaigns that drive customer and prospect adoption of new products and features.

  • Coordinate the marketing NPD (New Product Development) budget including budget trackers and vendor management.

  • Product launch strategy execution:

  • To support Product Introduction, you are responsible of guiding with the right content and supervising marketing deliverables.

  • Ensure consistent branding, image and quality in all the Genie materials by partnering with the Global branding team. As an expert in the field and by knowing your products and services value propositions you will oversee the content of the marketing tools to make a successful product introduction

  • Organize, execute, supervise Field Marketing activities/deliverables/campaigns for your Mix-Channels:

  • Communication (internal/external/Media Public content),

  • Deliverables (Photoshoots, Videos, Collaterals, Prints, Ads, Website content updates, Merchandise guidance),

  • Sales campaigns and Events (in Persons and Virtual).

  • All field marketing efforts are coordinated, resources maximized to avoid work duplication. Partner with global field marketing team members and gain in globalization, on time delivery and productivity.

  • Monitor proposals, estimates, schedules and budgets are part of daily tasks. You will also be responsible to measure the success of the activities by developing goals and objectives as well as KPI’s.

  • Tradeshows and Events:

  • Supporting with customers/dealers open days and tradshows, Genie/Terex road shows and tradeshows as well as Genie factory guests visit programs will be part of your field marketing initiatives. To succeed it is mandatory to partner with branding and field marketing team members to make sure we gain in globalization, on time delivery and productivity.

  • Plan, manage and execute the events from A – Z in a timely manner. Follow-up with sales, products, parts and service messages, coordinate machine/accessories demos and logistics. Make sure you provide the right level of support for tradeshow material, merchandise, back up team. Communicate and Inform internally and externally to the market, press media, customers.

  • May be called upon to assist at tradeshows in other regions and for Terex.

  • Budget accuracy is requested as well as, after the event, reconcile all expenses, measure ROI (short and long term) as well as reporting future improvements.

  • Customer and TM’s support:

  • You are responsible for supporting internal and outside sales team members on the field in addition to external customers from your mix channels.

  • Motivating the sales team, your dealer network, your rental customers with pertinent and creative Genie marketing campaigns to achieve market share and sales target in your territory.

  • Work in direct relationship with team members and customers in order to obtain feedback on market needs/data and marketing tools improvements are into your areas of responsibility.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members and customers to communicate accurately.

    About You

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years experience

  • Flexibility in working with different time zones

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

  • Previous marketing experience

  • Ability to work in Redmond, WA (hybrid schedule possible)

  • 2-3 years related experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills - team player with a positive attitude, providing superior customer service to external and internal customers, think outside of the box

  • Can effectively collaborate, communicate and speak-up within a wide range of stakeholder, taking direction and initiatives in a cross-functional team environment. Navigate ambiguity, solve problems and identify risks.

  • Demonstrated self-starter and ability to create and follow efficient management processes while creating visual status reporting, measurements and KPI with the purpose of improving and gain in efficiency/productivity

  • Willing to handle multiple projects simultaneously and extremely organized. Efficient multi-tasking abilities, attention to details, excellent follow-through with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines

  • Written skills and experience producing written content. Proven ability to present compelling narratives in public settings and to internal audiences

  • Comfortable with product launch planning and tactical execution

  • Genuine passion for understanding customers and what drives them to make purchase decisions
