The Azure Core Compute and Host team is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Business Administrator with a passion for enhancing organizations through initiative, collaboration, and dedication. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of a team of 2K, while also serving as Lead EA to the team of business administrators.

The successful candidate will be a determined self-starter with outstanding communication abilities, capable of operating independently and professionally across all levels. Proficient time management, task prioritization, and the ability to act under tight time constraints are critical. This position requires autonomy, delivering accurate results with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic calendar management and time planning support for CVP.

  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to synchronize leadership rhythms (planning and execution of All Hands, AMA’s, Roundtables, etc.), as well as customer and partner engagements, to guarantee seamless coordination of commitments.

  • Provide actionable business insights that enable effective management and decision-making.

  • Lead and guide the extended Compute and Host Business Administrator team by overseeing team meetings and implementing coaching and mentoring programs for both administrators and administrative managers as needed.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with the CVP’s leadership team and other key business stakeholders to ensure strategic time management for the office.

  • Daily team support includes new hire set up, purchase of goods & services, processing invoices.

  • Manage and maintain team aliases for the organization and headcount management, maintenance, and reporting.

  • Event planning, including oversight of budget,spending travel logistics management, trip preparation and expense reporting.Discretionary spend supervision and reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

  • Experience partnering with business leadership and other executive administrators and supported a global team, with remote employees, dealing with ambiguity in a timely manner.

  • Experience using Microsoft productivity software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint AND experience using OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaboration tools.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.

  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.
