The Team And Job Summary We are seeking an Environmental Scientist/Engineer - Environmental Cleanup professional to join our EH&S team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Pacific Northwest Remediation team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional environmental cleanup and management. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of Washington's environmental regulatory programs related to environmental cleanups, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. Job Responsibilities * Carrying out site assessments * Conducting technical and sampling audits * Performing due diligence * Evaluating the environmental impact of an organization's industrial and commercial activities * Making recommendations about required remedial work and ways to meet Washington State regulatory requirements * Using computer modelling and data to assess and forecast environmental remediation methods and outcomes * Producing technical reports Required Qualifications * B.S.E. or B.S. in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, mechanical engineering, , environmental science, hydrology, geology, biology, chemistry or related field. * 3+ years of relevant work experience. * Experience with upland soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, and surface water sampling techniques, analysis, cleanup process and remediation technologies. * Experience with groundwater, unsaturated zone and surface water investigations, remediation technology, CERCLA and Department of Defense cleanup projects, and PFAS remediation are highly desirable. * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Geographical Information System (GIS) software, and standard field equipment. * Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Flexible to work outside of normal business hours as required * Professional licenses are desirable (e.g. Licensed Site Remediation Professional, Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist) * 40-hr OSHA training * Valid driver's license and good driving record Physical And Mental Job Qualifications * Ability to travel as needed, depending on project assignments Some of the Benefits We Have Include J.S.
