Job Title:  Electronic Assembler Department: Production Reports To: Production Manager SUMMARY: While working under moderate supervision the Electronic Assembler II is responsible for performing mechanical, optical and electrical assembly and test operations that meet or exceed established company standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. •Perform basic testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet specifications. •Provide guidance and support for lower level assemblers. •Must be able to perform all duties of an Electronic Assembler I and other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or +six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Experience with soldering (IPC J-STD-001Certified preferred). •Experience with ESD control. •Experience with ISO 9001:2000 preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, assembly drawings and procedure manuals. Employee must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must meet ITAR requirements for the definition of a U.S. person.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus is required to produce and inspect product or components for quality and cleanliness.
