The Digital Stores Organization represents overall a multi-billion-dollar eCommerce business in digital transactions and millions of purchasing customers who engage with us each day, across Gaming, Entertainment, and Productivity.
The M365 Digital Stores Category Team is responsible for growing our over fifty million M365 consumer subscribers and delivering against revenue goals via our direct channels. We improve our online customer acquisition experience, relentlessly focus on turning new insights into action, and innovate through key programs. As the Director of M365 Category for digital stores, you will lead the team with end-to-end responsibility for the M365 and Software categories. You will drive innovation within your categories, be responsible for the day to day running of the M365 and Software businesses and driving plans to meet business goals. This requires astute business leadership as well as day-to-day operational rigor that keenly drives towards current fiscal year revenue targets, delivers against P&L commitments, manages and optimizes the direct selling experience and deepens partnerships with key stakeholders.

Business Planning: Responsible for overall business planning worldwide, in concert with our internal business partners. Run our rhythm of business, working across finance and partner groups to develop a view on insights on business results, what we should do differently, and what we are expecting moving forward. Develop effective plans to address the best market opportunities, communicating across the organization and gaining broad consensus and approval.
E-Commerce Leadership and Execution: Drive innovation and performance for direct selling of M365 and Software. Informed by competitive and internal best practices and business insights, drive an innovation roadmap utilizing experimentation to test incremental improvements and step changes in our existing experience. Ensure a positive end to end customer experience.
Team Management. Manage a team of FTE’s and vendors, demonstrating a commitment to model/coach/care to foster career growth and an environment where every team member feels as if they can show up each day as their authentic self and do their best work.
Partner Relationships & Management : Responsible for close partnership, insights, and service to the Modern Life & Device team, Product teams, and other key marketing teams, who drive the product and cross-channel go-to-market strategies.
Executive Engagement: In this role, you will be expected to lead your team in demonstrating a strong business command (qualitatively and quantitatively) of the M365 and Software space. Equally important is the ability to demonstrate an executive presence and maturity that allows you to establish and build productive working relationships with senior executives across our partners.
Partner with cross-org business partners to build and execute go-to-market strategy.
Establish and manage rhythm of the business reviews and budget/forecast planning.
Drive processes and reviews to ensure execution excellence across all Digital Store delivered work
Determine business prioritization for engineering requests
Work on ad-hoc projects as needed to meet the changing business environment.
8+ years of experience in marketing, management consulting, finance, business management and/or equivalent
Highly preferred experience and skills
Strategy and/or business planning experience
Operational mindset with strong attention to detail and drive for results.
Data driven and comfort with analytics
E-commerce experience a plus.
Direct people management experience, coaching & developing talent, and building a high performing team
Experience leading marketing and/or sales for productivity, consumer subscriptions and services
A track record of exceptional partnering across a wide array of internal business groups, stakeholders and execution partners
