Salary:                 $196,405/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

 

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:

 

Support the development and production of state-of-the-art mechanical designs, structures, mechanisms and sensor integration solutions that will create transformative experiences for users of Augmented Reality. Explore new concepts through analytical modeling and fast iterative prototyping. Work on cutting-edge technologies with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists that pioneer mechanical, electrical, optical, materials, firmware, software and computer vision solutions. Drive concepts into prototypes. Lead or contribute to geometry control solutions as part of a team, including 3D dimensional analysis and datum coordination to support functional and manufacturing build strategies. Lead tolerance analysis efforts with the design team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate concepts and detailed designs. Apply rigorous variation simulation modeling techniques to solve challenging design problems. Contribute to measurement plans and procedures using appropriate metrology.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: 1. Executing variation simulation analyses using software including Siemens VA (visVSA), CETOL, or 3DCS; 2. GD&T, tolerance analysis, and associated metrology; 3. Manufacturing techniques including machining, 3D printing, or injection molding; and 4. Participating on teams that design products from concept to manufacturing.
