To support these aspirations, the SMT team is hiring an experienced Program Manager to develop, manage and execute Microsoft strategies and/or programs related to global diversity and inclusion initiatives across SMT.

This is a strategic role that provides a tremendous opportunity for business impact across a global organization. We are looking for someone who has a practical understanding and passion for the impact of organizational culture on lived employee experiences across a broad range of diverse identities and underrepresented communities. The ideal candidate is someone who thinks about the big picture and how existing programs can scale while keeping business relevance and leveraging a corporate plan. You should be a relationship builder, skilled at bringing people together to work towards a common goal or challenge. And, finally, an excellent communicator with a proven record of leading the development of messaging, employee communications and executive briefings.

This position will report into the Growth Innovation & Strategy team and collaborate with the SMT leadership team, D&I Champs/V-teams, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Partner with the SMT Leadership Team, D&I Executive Sponsor and HR Business Partner to understand priorities and identify areas where Diversity and Inclusion programming can help achieve desired outcomes, and/or amplify existing efforts being led by other groups and partners.

Develop the all-up SMT D&I plan and manage, scale and measure diversity and inclusion programs (in partnership with SMT HR leadership and a virtual team of stakeholders and champs) leveraging proven programs and infrastructure from across SMT and the corporate Global Diversity and Inclusion (GD&I) team.

Lead a virtual team of D&I champs and partner with other communities (including Chiefs of Staff, Communications, and others) to manage, execute and assess progress against SMT-wide initiatives.

Act as a strategist and thought partner to SMT Employee Resource Groups (ERGs); partnering on events, development of OKRs, and ensuring groups are supported and connected across the organization

Qualifications

5+ years of business program management experience, or relevantexperience developing, delivering, promoting, critically assessing, and continually improving programs for a large organization.

3+ years of experiencemanagingemployee or culture programs and driving change management. Experience managing programs that improve the lived experiences and representation of employees across a broad range of diverse identities and underrepresented communities a plus.

Experience inleading and managing global virtual teams and programs.Strong cross-group collaboration skills and ability to drive coordination across all levels and stakeholders

Excellent project management, communications and organizational skills and attention to detail, with a record of accomplishment of getting things done through cross-functional partnerships.

Experience working with employee resource groups and manager communities a plus.

High level of discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside the company.
