Data Analyst BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst remote opportunity. Position Title: Data Analyst Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Full time Contract Pay Range: $60 to $65 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: Job Description: Title: Data Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Summary: NOTE: Sponsor is looking for a focus on Digital Implementation Engineer / Data Analyst The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Job Responsibilities: * Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies * Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions * Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes * Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes * Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications Skills: * Experience with database technologies * Knowledge of the ETL process * Knowledge of at least one scripting language * Strong written and oral communication skills * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Demonstrated history of success * Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions More technical because of the hardcoding and tagging work. (provide strategic guidance and implementation of custom digital and media tags across our digital web properties) * Must have experience tagging enterprise sites with digital analytics and media tags (Adobe 1DS, Tealium, Sprinklr) either by using Tag Manager tools or hardcoding * Must have experience creating and documenting tagging specs, implementing tags, and performing QA to ensure tags are populating as expected * Must be familiar with writing code to pass into custom variables * Must be knowledgeable with Privacy, GDPR, and cookie classifications * Sets up BVTs to ensure tags continue to fire as expected and create threshold alerts * Consistently monitor data collection to ensure PII info is not being passed in free form text fields or CTAs * Provides strategic thought leadership and recommendations with respect to tagging optimization and ensuring tags on the site do not violate any cookie and privacy compliance requirements Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required * 5-7 years applicable experience required Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Experience more important than degree - however, relevant degrees may include a Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or even business / economics * Disqualifiers: N/A * Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience in tagging specs themselves and setting up and running digital analytics process.
