You will be responsible for planning and executing effective communication during technical crises (major incident system outages) to convey severity, business impact and incident duration to leadership teams and user bases. You will also be a key player in the IT consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan to help engineering teams deliver system enhancements. Location for this position is Redmond, WA, USA. Qualifications Basic Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education Excellent Communication skills with proven record of planning and managing executive level communication At least 5 years of experience working in Information Technology Preferred 3+ years of experience in Communications and Crisis Response management 3+ years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes preferably in Sales and Marketing applications Has a basic knowledge of prioritizing requirements and the ability to identify the relationships and interdependencies between requirements Work with a broad mix of people and related skill to probe for issues/concerns and drive to consensus. Partner with the business and technical teams, to translate tactical and strategic objectives into workable IT solutions Experience with Agile SCRUM is preferred Experience with Project Management, specifically Planning and Co-ordination skills Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must along with analytical ability The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
