CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. The Construction Strategy, Schedule, Process and Execution (CSPE) group creates, implements, and drives processes to improve Data Center Construction Operations across our global build portfolio. We are a support organization to the field teams executing projects managing by influence and establishing relationships. We utilize tools such as Master Schedules, Risk Framework, Quality Checklists and Schedule Health Scorecards, and are hands-on with the PMs in the field, and with the General Contractor with our tools and analysis. This results in Schedule Efficiency and Predictability, driving overall delivery efficiencies.

The Construction Strategy Execution Program Manager will amplify CSPE’s tools and processes through the development of on-boarding and training assets, development of a project playbook, a smart project execution plan template, and advanced project planning functions. They will ensure the digital infrastructure and materials meet the needs of the Global Execution Implementation team who are responsible for deployment and transfer to the field construction management teams. They will partner with the Process Excellence Group to frame business practices and new initiatives within CO+I’s industry leading process principles. Additionally, this position will cross functionally to leverage the work done by the Portfolio Schedule Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Risk Management, and Lessons Learned groups. Our goal is to improve project delivery efficiency and to drive schedule predictability. As we support a global program, flexible work hours are necessary.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of this role are to:

  1. Synthesizing dense information and complex processes into impactful on-boarding and training assets.

  2. Enhance communication and deployment strategies for tools and processes.

  3. Partner with Process Excellence Group to drive process maturity in relevant process areas.

  4. Manage process improvement initiatives with emphasis on effective monitoring and control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 15+ years of experience construction management experience.

  • Demonstrated end-to-end thinking for technical projects focusing on driving process and operational efficiencies for maximum business impact

  • Ability to travel to construction sites when necessary to support Global Execution Implementation and field construction management teams.

Preferred:

  • Proven ability to manage large programs

  • Experience with large construction programs, experience in Data Center construction.

  • Analytical thinking utilizing data to answer broad business questions, decide business priorities and monitor progress on targeted improvements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to present data from a detailed to high-level depending on audience
