We are seeking a strategic, proactive, creative Communications Manager who will help develop and execute CXP’s communications strategy. Reporting to the CXP Employee Experiences team lead, you will work closely with executive leaders, the office of the Chief of Staff, and engineering teams to craft messages and assets that inform, engage, and inspire a wide range of audiences, from our 2k global team members, to Microsoft’s senior leadership, to Cloud customers. The products and messages you create will help ensure that every CXP employee understands our mission and direction and is excited to contribute to our collective success. Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute CXP’s communications and brand strategy, incl. an editorial calendar aligned to our rhythm of business (ROB).

  • Bring the organization’s mission, priorities, and accomplishments to life through clear and compelling storytelling and messaging in a variety of media, incl. org-wide emails, PowerPoint, Viva Engage, SharePoint, and video.

  • Help produce internal events and communications programs, including CXP Town Halls.

  • Support CXP executives’ preparation for speaking engagements, incl. Town Halls, major presentations to Microsoft leaders, and customer-facing events.

  • Pursue and assess communications opportunities for CXP’s CVP and leaders, with a strategic eye toward scaling their platforms and the CXP brand.

  • Create CXP communications and visual brand assets and templates for CXP leaders and teams.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience

  • o OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role.

  • 2+ years experience building out a communications plan for a large organization.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can distill complex and technical content to clear and inspiring terms and channel the unique voices of different leaders.

  • Excellent project management skills. You are a proactive and strategic planner, closely attend to details, and deliver on time. You can effectively manage projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with people of every discipline and career stage.

  • Technical acumen and excitement about how Microsoft and CXPproducts and services empower our customers.

  • Growth mindset: You are self-motivated to learn, improve, and deepen your impact. You experiment with new digital communications and employee engagement techniques and use data to analyze what works and why.

Communications IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.
