Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is at the core of Microsoft Azure cloud services. The team is responsible for designing, building and operating our unified global datacenters; managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure; and responsible for all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams).   • Work closely with the CO+I Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and DC Physical Security team stakeholders to build, maintain and deliver a global training program.

  • Map learner skills, capabilities, and attributes to design framework for training and development.

  • Develop (hands-on) and direct others (vendor instructional designers) training solutions.

  • Develop and manage complex learning models for multiple, varied learner groups to deliver straightforward learning plans to our stakeholders.

  • Partner with lateral Operations groups to drive integration of global learning programs into established operational models where localized training is no longer able to support at scale.

  • Build train the trainer solutions including facilitator guides, storyboards and/or presentations.

Role :

This role will develop a full training program for our Environmental health and safety (EHS) space, which is tasked with ensuring that the work undertaken by the company does not cause undue environmental damage, put the workers' health and safety at high risk, complies with applicable legislation, and follows best practices. Proper readiness from timely and effective training is essential towards this purpose.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional design or educational technology.

  • 5+ years’ experience in learning, training, or instructional design.

  • Super user of e-learning software development tools Articulate 360 (Storyline 360), Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Previous experience integrating training delivery methodologies.

  • Experience supporting a fast-paced process development or manufacturing environment audience.

Preferred, not required:

  • Experience with datacenter personnel or other highly skilled, global operations workforces.

  • Experience working in or with EHS programs regarding content or learning development.

  • Experience using data to show impact of training to performance or other measurable business objective.

  • Some experience facilitating classroom learning.

  • Work with multi-media development and/or videography.

  • Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures.
