BrickRed Systems Business Manager- Financial management in Redmond, Washington
Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and highly detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and project management, with the ability to support a team of 15 individuals. The Business Manager will be responsible for managing monthly and quarterly business reviews, monthly project updates, and supporting the team with financial planning and budgeting. Key Responsibilities: • Planning and rhythm of business management: o Refine and manage the rhythm of business (ROB), including business reviews, annual planning, and staff meetings to help the team run effectively. o Work closely with the team to ensure that they are aligned with the rhythm of the business and that all projects are progressing as planned. o Manage monthly and quarterly business reviews, ensuring that all necessary data is collected, analyzed, and presented in a clear and concise manner. o Manage monthly project updates, providing regular reports on progress and highlighting any issues or concerns that need to be addressed. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards. o Drive regular key performance indicator reviews, support finance rhythm of business. • Budget and financial analysis: o Conduct financial analysis to provide trends and support budget forecasting and decision-making. o Financial modeling: build driver-based models to enable insights, surface actionable opportunities, drive the right behavior and support decision-making for prioritization and strategy. o Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying areas of potential cost savings or overages, and making recommendations to the team. o Prepare financial reports and analysis, including variance analysis and forecasting. • Process management o Ensure that all financial and project management processes are documented, and that the team is trained on these processes as necessary. o Partner across organization to identify and drive efficiencies o Streamline business processes, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and effective resource management. Includes development of new business processes and tools to continuously improve organizational efficiency. o Drive operational Excellence across the organization, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects that improve team efficiency. o Refine and improve knowledge management for the team o Develop and manage organizational assets including Walking decks, SharePoint sites, and Teams channels. Requirements: • Excellent financial analysis and project management skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Outstanding cross-functional project management skills to organize a busy workload and deliver projects on time. • Strong attention to detail, passion for problem solving, and ability to deliver rich, business insights to drive business decisions. • Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus.
