As a business development representative at Ossia, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying the right customers to build strategic pipeline across the business. This role requires understanding of prospecting principles and a high comfort level reaching out to cold prospects via email, LinkedIn and phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospects within Ossia’s Ideal Customer Profile via tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo

  • Build targeted lists of prospects and create personalized outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to appeal to target accounts

  • Reach out to cold prospects on a daily basis via phone, email and LinkedIn to book qualified meetings

  • Manage your sales data in our CRM platform, HubSpot

  • Understand the analytics behind your outbound campaigns and adjust your personalized outreach to improve campaign outcomes

  • Qualify inbound leads on a round-robin basis

  • Book qualified meetings with Account Executives to build pipeline

  • Occur 10 qualified meetings per month with your Account Executives

  • Contribute to overall team success through campaign ideation and innovation

  • Up to 10% travel to conferences

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative

  • Experience doing cold outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Proven track record of success booking and occurring qualified meetings to generate pipeline

  • Familiarity with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or equivalent tools

  • Comfort with ambiguity as you strive to find the best companies and contacts

  • Excellent communication skills with a willingness to learn from others

  • Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate with partners to deliver outstanding results
