Aston Carter Business Development Manager in Redmond, Washington
One of the largest software based companies in the world is currently searching for a Business Development Manager that will be capable of creating real impact for a video game with over 140 million monthly players. This opportunity is a 6-month contract with a pay rate of 40-60$ per hour. The company is searching for someone with a proven 3+ years of experience with complex business negotiations, contract drafting and redlining, and task management prioritization in a fast-paced environment working within the video-game industry. We are looking for someone passionate about video-games and is genuinely excited about the opportunity to positively impact the company, the industry, and the 140 million daily players.
Maintains and develops internal and external relationships with business and technical peers for assigned partners. Utilizes process to support development and maintenance of pipeline; prepares information for reporting to key stakeholders. Escalates to manager as needed. Closes opportunities using predefined program frameworks or templates, as applicable. Assists with execution and deal management by communicating and reporting with to stakeholders. Tracks blocking issues and works with deal stakeholders to drive resolutions. Supports post-deal governance and execution plans by working with internal and partner stakeholders across business and technical and operational teams. and supports measurement results by assessing progress against. KPIs defined success metrics (e.g., revenue, volume of opportunities in the pipeline/channel).
Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field OR equivalent experience. Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, business development, product management, or related field). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrable ability to build and maintain successful business partnerships.
Contract Drafting, Negotiations, Redlining, and Task Management Prioritization.
