Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:
Develop reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Produce business intelligence (BI) information by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Design and build BI solutions that improve Microsoft products. Analyze data using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and manage BI and reporting projects. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, set milestones and prepare detailed work summaries and structures. Document and share best practices for BI and reporting end to end processes. Facilitate foundational operations that support the core infrastructure of Microsoft's online services or cloud technologies. Telecommute work permitted up to 100% from any location in U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Math, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience with architecture, design and implementation of cloud technology infrastructure solutions.
- Specific Skills: This position also requires at least 12 months of experience in the following skills: Data Analysis & Interpretation; Business impact analysis; and Python; and 6 months of experience in: Data story-telling; Dashboarding; Data Processing; and SQL.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (Job Code: TSMAS17859), in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii), is $135,000 to $165,000.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
