We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate and timely reporting and management of royalty statements and monitor financial obligations of worldwide partners. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise to ensure data quality and accuracy.  They will be responsible for validating, managing, and maintaining accurate records of royalty data in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to invoice and track payment of royalties.  In addition, this person will project manage the on-boarding and maintenance of our new royalty management platform.

Responsibilities

· Acquire data, develop, and maintain databases/data collection systems.

· Monitor performance and quality control to identify efficiencies and improvements.

· Take ownership of managing a seamless transition and onboarding process to migrate external partners onto a new royalty management platform; requires direct communication and developing relationships with external partners

· Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions

· Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

· Monitor and maintain accurate financial records and status of partners to facilitate effective financial management, invoicing, and reporting

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field

  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field

  • Solid knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL), dashboards (Power BI); adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and competency in MS Word and Outlook

  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly self-motivated and driven, and a proactive problem-solver

  • Well planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • A track record of following through on commitments

Business Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $66,900 - $119,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $89,600 - $134,400 per year.
