Microsoft Corporation Business Administrator in Redmond, Washington

We’re seeking an energetic, and tech-savvy Business Administrator to join the Microsoft Security Management team. Our Management Intune team specializes in mobile device management, mobile application management, and desktop computer management solutions. This role is part of the Microsoft Security division, reporting directly to a Partner Director. We’re looking for a passionate, motivated team player and leader with a can-do attitude. Key qualifications include superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, proficient organizational skills, effective communication, and adeptness at handling multiple requests with minimal guidance. Discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in interactions with leaders both inside and outside the company are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations for the Partner Directors team, including geographically dispersed teams.

  • Efficiently handle calendar management and monitoring to optimize the Partner Director’s bandwidth.

  • Assist in designing and implementing business processes, coordinating internal and external engagements, and managing communications for the Partner Director.

  • Collaborate with Business Managers, Admins, and Leadership Team members on projects and operational activities.

  • Proactively plan and organize logistics for team meetings (e.g., All Hands, staff meetings, Leadership Team offsites).

  • Support the Executive Business Admin with tasks related to discretionary budgets, headcount, and requisition management.

  • Identify areas for administrative policy improvement across the broader Security organization in collaboration with other Admins.

  • Redmond onsite support:

  • Full-Time Employee Support: Assist organization with setup orders, ensuring seamless hardware provisioning and setup.

  • Hardware and Peripherals: Our team handles hardware-related requests, from troubleshooting to configuring peripherals.

  • Space-Related Requests: Office setup or reconfiguration,count on us to create an efficient workspace.

  • Global Liaison: Serve as onsite liaison, for full time employees worldwidefor events and offsites.

  • 2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience.

  • The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.

  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
