Aston Carter Business Administrator (Executive Assistant) in Redmond, Washington

Aston Carter is actively seeking a Business Administrator for a leading tech company headquartered in Redmond, WA. This role will be hybrid ONSITE in Redmond, WA so candidate must be open to working onsite.


Primary Responsibilities

The Business Administrator is responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to:

  • Managing projects end-to-end with clarity in expectations and deliverables.

  • Managing Director’s calendar as a top priority resolving calendar conflicts quickly and timely, setting up meetings as requested, partnering closely with Director to anticipate changes and sense high priority needs.

  • Book travel for Director using internal travel tools.

  • Be passionate about diversity, respect and inclusivity.

  • Ability to understand and enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Order, hardware, peripherals, catering etc. As needed.

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. As needed

  • Plan morale events within budget.

  • Reconcile expense reports for Director in MSexpense in a timely manner.

  • Maintain classroom setup, submit facilities requests as needed.

  • Run weekly staff meeting, take notes and update agenda items.

  • Manage external facing email inbox.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


  • 2-4 years of professional Business Administrative experience within the tech industry is a plus but not required.

  • Experience directly supporting multiple executives or leaders

  • A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft products and a passion for Microsoft technology.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Resourcefulness seeks answers, solutions and alternatives when obstacles are presented.

  • Highly self-directed and comfortable in a startup environment with ambiguous and rapidly growing demands.

  • Strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.

  • Strong complex calendar management experience
