About the Role We are seeking an experienced Azure Service Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure.
What You Will Do This role will involve monitoring services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the high availability and performance of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure management, and cloud-based IT support.
Key Responsibilities: * Automation and Optimization: Develop scripts and use tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to automate routine tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize costs. * Incident and Problem Management: Respond to service-related incidents, troubleshoot root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively, minimizing impact on end-users. * Service Monitoring and Maintenance: Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to continuously monitor the health, performance, and reliability of Azure services, addressing any issues proactively to maintain uptime. * Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document troubleshooting steps, operational procedures, and system configurations, building a knowledge base to support quick resolution of future issues and enable team collaboration.
What You Need * 9+ years of professional experience in cloud operations, IT support, or service engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure. * Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage. * Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights. * Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation and task simplification. * Familiarity with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in a cloud-based environment.
What is Nice to Have * Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or relevant certifications in cloud operations.
