The Azure Unmanaged team sits within Microsoft’s Global Demand Center (GDC) organization. The Global Demand Center is responsible for driving scaled digital marketing and sales capability for the company. As the Azure Direct Funnel Performance, you will partner with stakeholders across GDC, Finance, Sales and Engineering to analyze business performance, marketing/sales impact and customer behavior to uncover new insights and identify opportunities for new scaled marketing and sales programs that will drive growth for Azure.

Candidates should be comfortable working with data, operating at a fast pace, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across teams and functional boundaries. Candidates should be curious and have a bias for action. This role requires business acumen and an ability to communicate with clarity to executives and stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Azure Unmanaged customer lifecycle and key business drivers.

• Analyze Azure Unmanaged business performance and marketing/sales programs to identify and communicate new insights.

• Translate data insights into new marketing or sales strategies to attract new Azure customers and to help grow and retain existing customers.

• Lead virtual teams of stakeholders from across Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to drive new analytics projects from data sourcing to insights visualization.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in marketing, business strategy and/or data analytics experience.

  • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in marketing, business strategy and/or data analytics experience.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in marketing, business strategy and/or data analytics experience.

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in marketing, business strategy and/or data analytics experience.

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to operate and influence in a large matrixed organization.

  • Communication and presentation skills with executives and a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders.

  • Experience analyzing commercial marketing and sales programs to distill data into actionable insights.

  • Track record of navigating ambiguity and leading complex projects from start to finish.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools

  • Management consulting experience a plus.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
