Applications Developer 3 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Applications Developer 3 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA (Remote)! Position Title: Applications Developer 3 Location: Redmond, WA (Remote) Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months Pay Range: $70/hr on W2. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core C#. * Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. * Write clean, testable, maintainable and self-documented code that follows best practices and standards. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. * Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of existing and new applications. * Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. * Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. * Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1. Minimum 5+ years experience with Proficiency in .NET Core. 2. Minimum 5+ years experience with Extensive experience with Azure services (e.g., App Service, Function Apps, Messaging Services, Azure AD). 3. Minimum 5+ years experience with Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proficiency in .NET Core and C#. * Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. * Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles. * Extensive experience with Azure services (e.g., App Service, Function Apps, Messaging Services, Azure AD). * Strong experience working with various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Explorer). * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * Work independently to deliver high-quality software solutions, from concept to deployment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building commercial software and proven track record of shipping successful software products & services. * 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on .NET Core. * 5+ years of experience in cloud development principles and patterns. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) * Familiarity with machine learning and AI as part of solutions. * Exposure to LLM-based generative AI frameworks/platforms. * Development experience in Python. * Experience with Bicep * Experience with Elasticsearch and Kubernetes. * Front-end development experience using React with Redux. * Experience with agile software development methodologies using DevOps (CI/CD) practices.
