Honeywell Advanced Project Engineer in Redmond, Washington

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in guiding and managing complex projects in the aerospace industry. You will be accountable for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions that drive efficiency, safety, and performance. Your expertise in project management, technical guidance, and collaboration will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and you will work onsite from our Redmond, WA location.

In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by delivering cutting-edge solutions that improve aircraft performance, enhance safety measures, and optimize operational efficiency.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading development teams in a new product development environment

  • Ensure project performance and execution

  • Managing customer relationships

  • Schedule and milestone development/management

  • Understand technology employed on various programs

  • Develop program/project cost estimates

  • Baseline development

  • Program/project metric development and reporting

  • Variance analysis

  • Risk and opportunity development and management

  • Manage supplier relationships

  • Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required, < 10%

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

  • 5+ years in a related field

  • 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

  • Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment

  • Demonstrated Earned Value Management (EVM) proficiency
