Job Description Summary This position is responsible for picking up and delivering bagged samples of raw product to the designated QA test area, as well as assisting the Sr. Ag Operations Specialist with the monitoring of the storage loading process. This is a seasonal position. Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Responsible for operating a Company leased vehicle, to and from assigned work locations, while cognizant of all safety and operational practices and using defensive driving techniques as instructed by Sr. Ag Operations Specialist. • Performs pre-trip safety inspection on vehicle before operating said vehicle. • Adheres to all laws, rules and regulations governing the operation of a vehicle as required by State and/or Federal governments. • Obtains individual samples for Quick-bruise testing, Lamb-Weston QA testing and AWSS evaluation. All samples will be obtained as directed and gently placed in the individually designated areas determined by the sample ticket directions. • All sample tickets will be checked for accuracy of information and directions prior to delivering samples to the QA testing department. • Assists the Sr. Ag Operations Specialist in the tracking and mapping of fields/areas within designated storages, as well as delivers supplies to storage locations as needed. • Assists the Sr. Ag Operations Specialist in performing field sample digs as necessary. • Assists the Sr. Ag Operations Specialist in tracking of Foreign Material. • Assists scale activities if needed, which includes scaling trucks in and out. • Actively practices and abides by all Company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. • Performs other duties as required by supervisory or lead personnel. Basic & Preferred Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
