+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | * Job Title: EASTERN WA DISPATCHER / SCHEDULER* | | | | Department: OPERATIONS | | | | Location: QUINCY | | | | Reports To: GENERAL MANAGER | | | | | | | | MANAGE DAILY DISPATCH / BILLING SCHEDULING OF TRASNPORTATION | | OPERATIONS AND ALL SPECIFIC DUTIES THAT APPLY TO THIS POSITION. | | | | * * | | | | Duties and Responsibilities: | | | | · Act as point of contact for Drivers and Customers | | | | · Schedule Pick-up and delivery appointments with customers | | over the phone and email | | | | · Provide detailed instructions to drivers for pick-up and | | delivery of cargo | | | | · Build and process Freight Bills | | | | · Data entry | | | | Requirements: | | | | · High School Diploma or GED | | | | · Ability to accurately read maps and calculate distances and | | related times | | | | · Experience with Microsoft Office | | | | · Able to learn multiple systems for monitoring and data | | entry as well as navigate web based programs | | | | · Willing to work flexible hours | | | | · Could have on call | | | | Desirable characteristics: | | | | · Strong customer service skills | | | | · Knowledge of regional infrastructure and traffic patterns | | | | · Detail oriented | | | | · A team player | | | | · Willing to learn new things | | | | | | | | This is a full time position, with medical, dental, vision after 90 | | days, paid vacation and 401K after 1 year.
