A Lab Administrator is responsible for the closure of a high number of trouble tickets submitted by various individuals throughout the company. Lab Administrators have a firm grasp on concepts within the lab and can perform the following tasks with little or no supervision: Installation of network and/or computer equipment Software re-installation of lab devices Adding new devices to our database system Troubleshooting and replacing of broken hardware Building or changing topologies between devices, and documenting the changes Lab Administrators will have hands on experience with (U/Li)nix configuration and a desire to expand knowledge of Networking and UNIX concepts. Lab Administrators need to be able to configure and troubleshoot JUNOS based routers. Lab Administrators are expected to pursue Juniper Certification to expand their knowledge of the routers they support. Lab Administrators are the first stop along the escalation track for Jr. Lab Administrators. Lab Administrators are expected to mentor and teach Jr. Lab Administrators the ways of the lab. All Lab Administrators are also responsible for keeping a safe, clean, and productive lab environment, which will require manual tasks such as removal of old cable from racks and the auditing and fixing of areas in the lab that have fallen from policy standards. Minimum Salary: $63,360.00 Maximum Salary:$97,152.00 The pay range for this position is expected to be between $63,360.00 and $97,152.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations.
