What You Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in plastics manufacturing (experience with injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion is a major plus).

  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with troubleshooting control systems and PLCs is highly desirable.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related field is preferred.

  • Soft Skills: strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in a fast-paced plastic manufacturing environment. This role ensures that machinery operates efficiently to meet production targets, focusing on minimizing downtime while maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programs. This company specializes in manufacturing for plastics, so knowledge of plastic producing machinery is preferred.

The essential functions of this role include:
