Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $110,000 - $146,000/yr. plus bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Operations Director I is responsible for providing overall leadership for all aspects of an assigned facility to include warehousing, transportation, finance and administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization
Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability
Prepare and control operational budgets
Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures; Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted
Plan effective strategies for the financial wellbeing of the company
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods
Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements
Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity
Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery
Provide technical support where necessary
Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services
Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity
Implement and manage operational plans
Perform other related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
Valid state motor vehicle operator s license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system
Physical Demands
Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
