Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Substitute Teacher in Pullman, Washington
Little Edisons School (LES) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Substitute Teacher position for our classrooms ranging from infant to school-age. If you are looking for an opportunity to provide quality early childhood education, while working a part-time schedule (19 hours), this position is for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the childcare field.
Establish and maintain supportive relationships with children and parents.
Work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Eighteen years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
1 year documented child care work related experience
Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team
Background check results satisfactory to DEL
Negative Mantoux TB test result(s)
Valid Driver's License
Ability to meet MVR Qualification Standards of SEL
Current Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Current Safe Sleep Training
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
