Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Software Engineer in Pullman, Washington

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented Software Engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving peoples’ lives. SEL develops critical products that provide the main interface for protecting, controlling, monitoring & analyzing the power grid.

Our team supports SEL's public web presence at selinc.com. This role is focused on web development and DevOps. Some technologies we commonly use are Typescript, React, C#, MSSQL, Postgres, and Kubernetes. This position is located on-site in Pullman, WA.

As a Software Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

  • Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software systems.

  • Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software.

  • Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to solve complex problems.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • You have 2+ years of software engineering, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range Data

Associate Software Engineer, $60,800 – $95,000. Software Engineer, $69,100 – $108,100. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
