Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Senior Accountant position located at our headquarters in Pullman, Washington.
The Senior Accountant will focus on SEL's globally consolidated finance and audit systems. The incumbent will be required to maintain and deploy knowledge of accounting principles, finance principles, and auditing systems, processes, tools, and procedures to: 1) perform, review, and audit journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations; 2) develop and refine budgets, forecasts, financial analyses, product cost analyses, financial reports, audits, tax returns, and accurate financial measures; 3) formulate business plans, rolling forecasts, and finance and accounting audits; 4) assist in performance improvement initiatives focused on SEL's internal ERP accounting systems; 5) proactively identify trends and influences in the global business environment that might impact the deployment of accounting and finance-related solutions at SEL; 6) serve as an authority on accounting and finance-related issues, while providing guidance to accounting and finance subject matter experts throughout the global SEL organization; and 7) measure and improve SEL's accounting and auditing systems, processes, tools, and procedures.
Salary Range: $101,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year.
