Professional Position Details: Summary of Duties: The School of Molecular Biosciences and the Center of Reproductive Biology seek a full-time temporary Research supervisor to perform the following non-inclusive list of tasks: Identification and definition of research problems, design of approaches or hypotheses and methodology to be used, design of specific phases of research projects, analysis of the results, development of conclusions and hypothesis, and presentation of research results in publications. They are responsible for supervising/managing research project operations and personnel. This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related scientific or engineering discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience which has included at least one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience. A Masters degree in an appropriate related discipline may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience exclusive of the lead or supervisory experience. • Experience using a CRISPR.
