Position Details:

 

The Opportunity:

 

As the Project Manager within the Social and Economic Sciences Research Center, you have the opportunity to specialize in research projects related to Hispanic/Latinx communities. Your primary position responsibilities will involve collecting qualitative and quantitative data and conducting data analyses; conducting fieldwork including face-to-face interviews and web interface; preparing survey and evaluation reports, presentations, and dashboards, including data visualizations; managing day-to-day operation of projects; and developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral science, business, economics, or education research discipline, and three (3) years of progressively responsible related professional research experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

 

• Fluent in Spanish.

 

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.

 

• Experience working with Hispanic/Latinx communities.

 

• Demonstrated attention to detail.

 

• Demonstrated computer software skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.

 

• Demonstrated data analysis, programming, and data visualization skills.

 

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.

 

• Demonstrated excellent customer service.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in an education research discipline, social or behavioral science, public administration, or related fields or 5 years of relevant experience.

 

• Experience with online survey platforms, such as Qualtrics.

 

• Experience with statistical packages, such as SPSS, SAS, or R.

 

• Experience with qualitative analysis packages, such as MAXQDA or NVIVO.

 

• Experience with data visualization platforms, such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with quantitative and qualitative research.
