Available Title(s): 450K-YYCSNPS - Plant Communications Coordinator Business Title: Plant Communications Coordinator Employee Type: Classified Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Plant Communications Coordinator operates the Central Telephone Switchboard for the Facilities Services, Operations Department. The incumbent receives maintenance calls and work requests and refers to parties within the department. Prepares and expedites all work order requests, etc. Operates two-way radio communications. Produces multiple Maintenance Reports. Keeps Maintenance department statistics. Schedule: Friday 11pm to Saturday 6am Saturday 6pm to Sunday 6am Sunday 6pm to 11pm Required Qualifications: • High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience in some aspect of shop related work to provide general familiarity with repair and maintenance activities; OR equivalent education/experience. • May fill-in/relief for other shifts during the workweek as necessary. • Experience in using computers. • Ability to speak and understand English clearly. Preferred Qualifications: • One (1) year clerical experience.
