Summary of Duties:

The MOSAIC Center for Student Inclusion is a resource for WSU Tri-Cities students to explore and deepen their understanding of identity, equity, culture, social issues, and advocacy. It exists to provide a space for marginalized students, celebrate cultures and heritages that embody the WSU Tri-Cities community, and foster dialogue and learning to build agency and civic engagement.

The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center, including managing student employees, overseeing and managing programming efforts and student resourcing, and cultivating strategic cross-campus partnerships for the benefit of student education and engagement. The coordinator will focus primarily on student-centered efforts promoting and fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging while also actively participating and coordinating select campus-wide activities to support WSU Tri-Cities diversity and inclusion activities and initiatives.

WSU Tri-Cities is committed to creating a student-ready campus, marked by academic excellence, career-connected learning, and social belonging. This commitment is informed by our belief that all students, faculty, and staff contribute value to our campus culture. We are proud that almost half of our students are first in their family to attend college and almost half of our students identify as students of color. We believe that this diversity is a great strength in the classroom and across the many co-curricular activities in which WSU Tri-Cities students participate and lead.

This position is part of the Student Services team of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs and reports to the Director of Student Services.
