Media Technician Senior Available Title(s): 203F-YNCSNPS - Media Technician Senior Business Title: Media Technician Senior Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Responsible for providing service, giving direction, and assisting with audio/visual and technical support for meetings and events coordinated by CUB scheduling held in the Compton Union Building and Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center. Maintain and repair audio visual and event services inventory. Responsible for hiring training, and scheduling of event services staff. Required Qualifications: • High school graduation AND one year of experience as a Media Technician; OR equivalent education/experience. • One year of audio/visual experience or equivalent education/experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree. • Event coordination experience. • Experience managing and maintaining comprehensive, integrated built in house audio-visual system. • Working knowledge and experience with projectors. • Experience with day of management of concert audio-visual systems including setting up and operating concert lighting systems and operating multi-channel digital sound boards.
