Summary of Duties:
Under general direction provides fiscal administrative support for Facilities Services, specializing in accounts receivable. Using independent judgment in the interpretation and application of university, state, and departmental rules and procedures processes a broad range of specialized billings including: project and work management, Motor Pool and fuel services, University Stores requisitions and demurrage, a variety of waste and surplus services, and utilities. Maintains billing records electronically in departmental project management system and Workday, verifying and enforcing budget allocations and accounts to manage internal control of interdepartmental and external client billing and accounting processes. Reconciles expenditures and revenue for departmental operations and analyzes and prepares operational budget reports for department management.

Required Qualifications:
• Two years of experience at a level equivalent to Fiscal Specialist 1 AND 15 quarter hours OR 10 semester hours of college level accounting; OR equivalent education/experience.
• One year of experience performing duties requiring occupational level keyboarding/typing OR equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and facilitate harmonious working relationships with others.
• Experience with computer-based business information systems and experience utilizing spreadsheets, databases, etc., to analyze and present financial information
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with University fund accounting.
• Experience or training in accounts payable and purchasing functions.
