Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Equipment Maintenance Technician (Weekend Shift) in Pullman, Washington

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Equipment Maintenance Technician position for our weekend swing shift.

The hours will be Friday through Monday from 3:00PM to 1:30AM.

In this position, you will provide technical support to a wide variety of state-of-the-art electronics assembly and production equipment, including robotics, surface mount technology, through-hole component placement, PCB soldering, and plastic injection molding equipment. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, a typical day might include the following:

· Performing advanced troubleshooting, calibration/trim, repair, and preventive maintenance of advanced complexity on all manufacturing equipment.

· Working with little or no guidance from supervisors or other technicians.

· Providing mentorship and guidance to other Equipment Maintenance personnel.

· Participating on teams to identify and solve complex production equipment issues.

· Entering and maintaining accurate entries in the equipment maintenance database.

This job might be for you if:

· You have an associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.

· You have a basic understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic technology and theory.

· You have experience maintaining and performing maintenance on production equipment.

· You have a basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

· You have a basic knowledge of modern test equipment used to diagnose equipment failures.

Pay Range Data

Equipment Maintenance Technician I $23.13 - $34.76 per hour. Equipment Maintenance Technician II $26.20 - $39.28 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
